• (3) Information recorded on the driver’s license (license number, etc.) and a copy of the driver’s license
• (4) Information recorded on identity-verification documents, passport, foreign driver’s license and its translation, etc.
• (5) Reservation details, lending details, usage history, and vehicle usage status
• (6) Information relating to payment and settlement (payment information such as credit card numbers is, in principle, not retained by the Company but securely processed by the payment-agency company)
• (7) The content of inquiries and consultations, and records of communications and calls with the Company

Article 3 (Purposes of Use of Personal Information)

The Company uses the personal information it collects within the scope of the following purposes.

• (1) To accept rental car reservations and to conclude and perform lending contracts
• (2) To verify the customer’s identity, confirm driving eligibility, and conduct credit assessment and screening
• (3) To bill fees and to process payment and settlement
• (4) For the lending and return of vehicles, pick-up and transfer (relocation), and other business operations
• (5) To respond to accidents, breakdowns, theft, troubles, etc., and for procedures relating to insurance and coverage
• (6) To respond to inquiries, consultations, and after-sales service
• (7) To contact you regarding reservation details, changes, cancellations, etc.
• (8) To provide information about the Service and campaign information (delivery will be stopped if the customer does not wish to receive it)

• (10) To respond as required by laws and regulations, and to protect the Company’s rights and property

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

Except in any of the following cases, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without first obtaining the customer’s consent.

Within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use, the Company may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to external operators (e.g., payment agency, maintenance and operation of systems and servers, email delivery, etc.). If you make a reservation via a travel-booking site or the like (an OTA), the handling of personal information on that site is subject to the privacy policy established by each site. The Company receives your information from each site within the scope necessary to carry out the lending, and handles it in accordance with this Policy.

To prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorized access, and the like of the personal information it has acquired, the Company implements organizational, human, physical, and technical security management measures and strives for their continuous review and improvement.
